★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No doubt the place is beautiful and it is worth visiting! Climbing the mountain is a great experience but I would like to request to the authorities to please install water filters because its a very long and tiring journey and there is no facility of water. So if anyone (authority) reading this review please Sir/Madam I request you to install water filters and if possible some food kiosks also.
Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has been developed since past few years.... You can't carry any food item's with you and water service is there through out so need to worry.... Approx 3600 steps to reach main temple but must take a glance to the temple which comes in between while climbing upside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From walking through 4000 steps and reaching your destination is a wholesome journey. Just greenery, beautiful views, awstruck moments, holy vibes all in one journey. I found this place so spiritual, magical and it gives you positive vibes every minute.
It is also called as city of temples.
Must visit it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is heaven for Jains as this is where Lord Adinath sets on top of the Shatrunjaya hill and heaven for all who get here in the monsoon.
Attached are the pictures take on date 17th of July.
For tourists:
There more than 3000+ steps and some flat walkways, my iPhone counted 20,000+ step and 150 levels (you will be surrounded by clouds). You can not carry any food (you have to get all the way down and then only you can eat) but you will find some stops where you can get water which again you might not like in taste, you can carry your own water bottle. With a strong will you can easily climb this hill as my team climbed and descended it for 3 straight days repeatedly. Best time to start climbing is around 5 AM (if planning to go early do carry water, best advise is to not consume much water), it hardly takes one and a half hour to climb it and in a good foggy day you might not even need to consume water while climbing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Palitana with over 900 Jain temples situated on Satrunjaya hills is the most sacred and revered site by the Jain community. A hike to the top involves climbing 3500 stone steps and paved road accompanied by water stalls located every few meters.
