WE bought panasonic 1 ton ac through flipcart costing us ₹30490/-
For installation some Javed came from Aircool Refrigeration, Jaipur, assigned by Panasonic as their Authorised service center in jaipur.
He Quoted ₹ 1180/- as installation charges, ₹ 944/- for stand inclusive GST.
for extra quoted copper pipe @ ₹240/- per feet, electric wire @₹40/- per feet & drain pipe @₹25/- per feet.
After installation bill for installation charges & stand was given.. Upon asking bill for extras additional charges for GST @ 28% was demanded.. That was surprising & created big doubt.
Any way I said we will pay GST you give us the bill, then he promised to send bill on what's app. When next day bill was sent me on what's app it was without appropriate details, no signature no stamp. electric wire rate is now changed to ₹ 35/- per feet ipo 40/- per feet, GST is now @18% where as it was verbally quoted @28%.
Total bill costing ₹ 4072/- for extras.
All this put me in great suspicion on the working of these so called authorised service centers..
After a long bargaining & discussions, we paid cash ₹3000/- & the matter was finally settled.
Now the question arises..
▪️ *Do you have appointed authorised service centers for open loot/robbery or to facilitate customers?*
▪️ Why charges for installation & stand are quoted including GST. Whereas for electric wire, copper pipe GST extra? Revealed only when asked for bill?
▪️When electric wire is sold per meter in all markets, why it is sold per feet?
The charges for installation costed us more then 20% to the cost of ac (for only 8 feet extention) isn't it inappropriate?
*The experience of installing an ac somehow ended with all bitterness.*
Do concerned authorities of companies like panasonic will do something concrete on it. Or robbery of so called authorised service centers will continue like that?
