★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local train platform is good but long distance train platforms particularly 6/7 # is in very bad shape also very untidy. And it has been very poorly planned there are lots of stairs instead of ramps, even while using automatic stairs you have to climb certain strains then again you have so many unevenly constructed joints that it becomes very difficult to use your trolley bag, if you have light luggage then ok, incase you have some heavy luggage you will realize the issue. Even outside station the auto drivers have made a real mess along with broken roads.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last station on Harbor line, and the important station on Kokan Railway. Station is clean. Staff is very polite. Ticket window are sufficient, because of that the queue for ticket is less. Staff cleaning station daily. Security is also good. Only the entrance road is not in good condition. Parking space is good. Bus and auto service is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Panvel Rly. Stn. is one of the well maintained, neat and calm railway stations of the Central Railway. It looks more beautiful during rainy season. All major route trains connecting Kokan Railway to different parts of the country stop here. The station has 24×7 free Railware wi-fi connectivity for commuters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Given the frequency of trains passing through this station it should be a little more clean. On site staff is very friendly and cooperating, platforms can be a little more clean. Public Restrooms are okay. Connectivity with other parts of the city is very good. Suburban Railway is available from the same station. Auto rickshaws and cabs are available in plenty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros - The Railway Station Complex is quite purposeful, Cleanliness is taken Care of and the Premises has convenient Exits. Free WiFi facility is also available. The Harbour Line Train to CSTM, Trans-Harbour Line Train to Thane as well as some Express Start from here. Also Escalator is in the Making.
Cons - The Parking in the Railway Station Complex needs to be Improved, Sheer Lack of Snacks Outlets, Being the only Railway Station for both Old and New Panvel, A long and Narrow Bridge serves as Pedestrian and Exit Bridge to New Panvel has to be Crossed which creates Chaos and is very Inconvenient.
