★ ★ ★ ★ ★ সোদপুর ষ্টেশনের অদূরে বইপ্রেমীদের জন্যে একটি অনবদ্য তীর্থক্ষেত্র। দেশ বিদেশের বাংলা ও অন্যান্য বিভিন্ন ভাষায় বিষয়ধর্মী বই থেকে ক্লাসিকাল সাহিত্য, আধুনিক থ্রিলার থেকে ঐতিহাসিক বিভিন্ন তথ্যসমৃদ্ধ পুস্তকাদি, ছোটদের মনোরঞ্জনের শিশুসাহিত্য থেকে শুরু করে বড়োদের আর্থসামাজিক ভূরাজনৈতিক বিভিন্ন জ্বলন্ত ইস্যুকে কেন্দ্র করা বই ; সবকিছুর একত্রিত সমাহার বলা যায় পাপাঙ্গুলের ঘর। এর সাথে উপরি পাওনা পাপাঙ্গুলের ঘরের মালিক পাপাঙ্গুল ওরফে জয়দীপ মিত্রের মিত্রসূলভ বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ হাসি ও মালকিন সংযুক্তা রায়ের আতিথেয়তা। কলেজ ষ্ট্রিটের দামে কলেজ ষ্ট্রিটের সমান সমৃদ্ধ বইয়ের ভাণ্ডায় মফস্বলেই আমাদের কাছে পৌছে দেওয়ার জন্যে সমস্ত বইপ্রেমিকদের পক্ষ থেকে জানাই অভূতপূর্ব নতমস্তকে নমন। ব্যক্তিগত অভিজ্ঞতা এদোকানে আমার খুবই ভাল, হঠাত একটু দেখে নেওয়ার অজুহাতে গিয়ে বিগত দিনে এত সুন্দর বইয়ের কালেকশান দেখে আমি চারখানি ব্যাগভরে বই আনতে বাধ্য হয়েছিলাম লোভ সংবরণ করতে পারিনি। আগামীদিনেও টাকাপয়সা জমিয়ে টোটোভাড়া করে বই কিনতে যাওয়ার ইচ্ছেপ্রকাশ করলাম এই নক্ষত্রসম দোকানটিতে। বাংলা বইয়ের জয় হোক, বাংলা পাঠকের জয় হোক, পাপাঙ্গুলের জয় হোক।

My personal experience is very good at this shop, I was forced to bring four bags of books after seeing such a collection of beautiful books in the past few days on the pretext of taking a look. I wanted to save money and go to this star-studded shop to buy books. May the Bengali book win, may the Bengali reader win, may Papangul win.
