 The Papahareshwar Temple, a beautifully carved chariot and a cow-shaped edge and a pool are some of the monuments.
It is an important national protected monument under the control of the Archaeological Survey of India.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ पापरेश्वर का शाब्दिक अर्थ है पापों का बदला लेने वाला। वर्तमान में यह धार परिसर के बगल में एक शिव मंदिर है। मंदिर में अलंकृत दरवाजे की सजावट (द्वार पट्टी) और शिव लिंगम है। इस मंदिर की सबसे उल्लेखनीय विशेषता होयसल राजाओं की शाही सीट है। इसकी लगभग 8 -10 फीट लंबी पत्थर की संरचना है जो एक अलंकृत मंडप से मिलती जुलती है और इसे राजा के आसन के अनुरूप सजाया गया है। सीढ़ियों पर प्रतिष्ठित होयसल शेर शिलालेख है और छत बहुत ही सुंदर है। इस आसन के ठीक आगे और मुख्य मंदिर के बगल में एक कुंड (टैंक) है। वर्तमान में तालाब पूरी तरह से सूखा है लेकिन यहां से त्रिपुरुष मठ के लिए एक गुप्त मार्ग है।
Papareshwar literally means the avenger of sins. Presently it is a Shiva temple next to the Dhar complex. The temple has ornate door decorations (door patti) and Shiva Lingam. The most notable feature of this temple is the royal seat of the Hoysala kings. It has a stone structure of about 8 -10 feet tall which resembles an ornate mandapa and is decorated according to the seat of the king. The stairs have the iconic Hoysala lion inscription and the ceiling is very beautiful. There is a kund (tank) just in front of this asana and next to the main temple. Presently the pond is completely dry but from here there is a secret passage to Tripurush Math.
