★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely a hole in the wall but legendary tea 'room' where the locals of various hues have their cuppa and guppa- politics, neighborhood, economy, day to day matters.. every thing is up for discussion and every one pipes in. If you speak the language and have an opinion, it's even better! The tea was simple . Myand delicious. My wife had the hajmola tea which she loved. I had the regular tea, two cups and loved the tea and the chat with the gentlemen who were there. Left feeling that I should come back and just catch up!

Assi Ghat is the southernmost ghat in Varanasi. It is one of the biggest ghats of Varanasi and most popular one. To most visitors to Varanasi, it is known for being a place where long-term foreign students, researchers, and tourists live. Assi Ghat is one of the ghats often visited for recreation and during festivals. On typical days about 300 people visit every hour in the mornings, and on festival days 2500 people arrive per hour. Most of the people visiting the ghat on usual days are students from the nearby Banaras Hindu University.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When i was in Bananas, someone advised me for Pappu tea stall . I went there and ordered lemon tea. Taste was good I tried many places but that was totally different and awesome.if you are going in banaras must try lemon tea ans see the preparation, way of preparation is lovely ☕️
