The heart of delhi foodie people is parathy wali gali, one of the best place to explore food and old shops and their way of management and services. You should must go to an old parathy wali shop called as babu ram parathy wala. This shop is very small but their paratha was just amazing and its best then all. He is their from the time when we are under British rules. But then and now he is there and serving people with their best Paratha's. They having Verity of more than 30-40paratha, you cant believe that they have khoya paratha also.

Good place to hangout with friends, good ambience and very delicious and testy Parantha, they offers dozens of parantha variety, price not too expensive, quality is pretty good, self service, great place for a group party, but you have to wait for a empty table. But some time you get a little bit traffic jam to reach their.

The shops with not a fair price. Price of the parathas are too much high like a five star hotel. Narrow street filled of smoke. Everything is nice except the wrong price of food. You will have two parathas in around 200 rupees. Only ideal for foriegners

The food is good and it strictly follows vegetarian, and cooked dishes do not include onions, since the owners are Brahmins, who do not eat the food cooked with onion and Jain people also live in the neighborhood. Street is very narrow walking is needed to reach here. Varieties include kaju, badam, matar, Mix Paranthas, rabri, khoya parantha, gobhi parantha, Parat parantha, etc. The parantha is usually served with sweet tamarind chutney, mint chutney, mixed vegetable pickle, paneer and potato curry, potato and fenugreek curry, and a sauteed mash of sweet pumpkin. Sweet Lassi, often served in khulhars, is also a specialty of this place. Of the 20 Paratha shops in the Paranthe Wali Gali, Chandani Chowk during late 1960s, only three remain today: Pandit Kanhaiyalal Durgaprasad Dixit (estd 1875), Pandit Gaya Prasad Shivcharan (estd 1882) and Pandit Baburam Devidayal Paranthewale (estd 1886). It is believed that all Parantha shops belong the same family. Pt. Gaya Prasad Shri Charan Wale Where: 34, Paranthe Wali Gali, Chandni Chowk Cost: Rs 150 for two people Timings: 9 am to 11 pm What to eat: Gobhi Paratha, Mix-Veg Paratha and Aloo Paratha Located in shop no 34, Paranthe Wali Gali, Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi is the most famous Parantha shop in India, not just Old Delhi. The Parantha shop remains open from 9 am to 11 pm and serves North Indian Paranthas, only vegetarian. The paranthas are really cheap and just costs Rs 150 for two people. The Pt. Gaya Prasad Shiv Charan Paranthe Wale has been catering awesome Parathas for decades and their service is excellent & quick and the Paranthas are superbly awesome. Babu Ram Paratha wale Where: 1984 To 85, Paranthe Wali Gali, Chandni Chowk Cost: Rs 150 for two people Timings: 9 am to 11 pm What to eat: Papad Paratha, Meva Paratha, Rabri Paratha, Daal Aloo Special Paratha Although this shop is small, but their taste remains high. They are credited to serve scrumptious Meva Paratha, Papad Paratha, Rabri Paratha, Daal Aloo Special Paratha. The Meva Paratha and Papad Paratha are some of the most unique ones you may had until now. The Papad stuffed Paratha is crispy as it sound and so is the Meva Paratha, tastes sweet and has a rich flavor. Other few wonderful offerings are Rabri Paratha and Dal Aloo Special Paratha. The Rabri Paratha is a bit with a fluid finish, but tastes equally delicious. The special Dal Aloo Paratha is a wonderful classic. It is much popular in Madhya Pradesh, UP and Bihar. It has a balanced flavors of Dal and Aloo. It tastes somewhat similar to Matar Paratha. Great in taste.

Just like there can be an infinite number of dosa varieties, in PGW you will find an infinite number of parantha varieties! Enjoy the types, varieties and the customisations that you can get here! all the restaurants are very rustic but the taste of the paranthas is strong and I recommend trying the very unusual ones. I am very glad I did because it was a great experience. The parathas were delicious, hot fresh, traditional flat bread, numerous stuffings to choose from. This is a small lane right off of Chandni Chowk. If I did not use Google maps I would have missed it. There were several places on the lane to eat, I chose the one with the longest line and it did not disappoint.
