★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parking ticket said "Muthyla Madugu & Resort & Waterfall" I was excited because there are some places to reach them road is not too good making the journey bit painful but the destination is so good that the painful journey was worth it?
This was not it, shower head in my bathroom lets out more water than the stream they're calling waterfall. They've done so much construction around "waterfall" you'll feel that the fall is gonna be good since there's park and children play area as well as a hotel(resort as per parking ticket) built around it, they're asking 20rs for parking where so many good places are free, all this build up for barely a stream of water falling from not more than 14ft height(even this is a bit of exaggeration for this place).
Sure there's a pond around for boating but you don't travel 40-50 km for boating that you can do anywhere within Bengaluru. There's a valley view but I've seen better, even the forest proclaimed by other reviews is so close to town the only wildlife here is monkeys which again can be found in outskirts of city already.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The water fall is very small, but the surrounding forest gives a good vibe. U can take a walk inside the forest surrounding it for a bit of adventure. The view from the near by hills is awesome. Just be careful with monkeys near the resort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the name of boating there is a small water stored from the dam but is very dirty. You gotto get down about 250 steps to get to the falls view point. There are 2 rest stops which is also good for views of the valley. As of now there was very little water from the falls hence the water streams were tiny. There is temple of lord Shiva at the view point below and once everyday pooja happens in the morning. Overall not much of an experience but just good enough for couple of hours. Oh yeah remember to take food to feed the monkeys...they are very gentle and patiently eat what you give. Better check before you go if there is enough water then it becomes better for the view and pics.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a serene valley totally wasted. This place has just got worsen each year passing. Their are numerous reasons to the fall, but let's talk good. Pearl valley has a lot of potential to grab a lot of tourist and hikers to this place. Some small changes can the overall look of this beautiful spot. I would appeal to the locals their to value the place and not exploit with unnatural things like bottles, plastics and harmful substances.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for family/group outing. This place is very close to the nature far away from hustle and bustle of the city. The place offers a lot of scenic beauty, a small waterfall more like a spring, boating facility. KSTDC operated restaurant is available in the Vicinity for small hunger meals. Decent parking facility also there. Minimal Entry fee need to be paid. We need to climb down steps to reach the so called waterfall. A small pond with lot of small fishes , where we can get a free fish spa done ?. Overall it was a really nice experience. The roads to dam was just okayish.

To b Frank I can say no safety here for people or couples who goes individual.
SINCE this is OK OK and peaceful place but very less water. There is deep forest and cool place.
