The significance of fundamentals in Mathematics and science can never be ignored as they play a pivotal role in all types of competitive, aptitude and professional exams ranging from NTSE, Olympiads (IMO/NSO/NCO) IIT-JEE, JEE Mains, NEET, AIIMS, AFMC, CAT, GRE, GMAT, SAT etc. These exams demand a significant component-based learning approach on fundamentals. Hence it becomes imperative for a student to build a robust fundamental base.
At Phoenix Institute of Mathematics & Science, a balanced program has been designed to lay out a strong foundation of the basic concepts in mathematics and science for the foundational classes of 7th to 10th standard. Students preparing for various Olympiads get separate classes, preparation material and mock tests. It is our firm belief that the right guidance at an early stage will provide an extra edge to our students in boosting their confidence and overcoming their fear for mathematics and science. We yearn to help your child inculcate love towards his/her subjects.
For the students of 11th and 12th, a proper student-teacher ratio is maintained to give proper attention to each individual and to monitor their progress and short-comings. A proper set of balanced worksheets (for board exams and various competitive exams) are provided with regular tests to apprise a student’s performance. Regular discussions and coordination with parents regarding the students’ progress are maintained.
We believe in the traditional methods of teaching and learning, where more focus is put in honing the skills through practice and logic-based reasoning rather than cramming. Individual attention and a disciplined and professional faculty are our institute’s assets that we can proudly boast of.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I adored having "Suresh Sir" as my maths lecturer! He is genuinely a good scholar who cares a lot about the success of his students. You could tell he actually cared about making the meterial interesting and comprehensible to everyone. Adding on, he goes out of his way to help students, as in his office hours are quite flexible, he answers emails promptly and even holds review sessions. He always is "upbeat"and has great chemistry with his students. The material in the class was well presented and correlated well with the textbook and course guidelines. He communicates information exceptionally clearly and efficiently , adds humor , and uses relevant examples to make connections between course material and the real world. There was a rare occurrence when I had difficulty with any concept and on the whole I have nothing bad to say about his style and proficiency of teaching. He is simply awesome and you could tell he really has passion for mathematics. "Great attitute towards teaching, highly recommended" !!
