★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tomb of the historic "Baba Hazrat Jeetanshah Rehmatullahleh" is located on the Pir mountain in Manihari block of Katihar district! It is situated at a distance of about 50m from Manihari railway station! The Pir Mountain opened by RAJA P.C LALL (PURNEA) on 3rd April 1931. The building of Pir Mazar was built in 1338 AD on this historic hill, about 60 feet high!The servant (Khadim) of this place is Mo. Safiuddin, who looks after here!
People of all castes, all religions keep coming to this tomb for years! The annual Urs Mubarak is celebrated every year on 25th of this tomb, in which Qawwali and Jalsa are also organized! There are many trees full of natural wealth on this mountain, the highest in northern Bihar! Mostly tamarind, mango, and many types of herbs are available here. The river Ganges flows about 40 meters away behind it! In the month of Sawan, the river Ganga passes the tomb of "Baba Hazrat Jeetanshah RahmatullahAleh", which further enhances its beauty! Behind the Pir Mazar is a cave-like building from the side below, from which the chosen stone used to be a cuticle! There is a historical well in front of Pir Mazar.
