★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well Dr. B.R. Ambedkar TV Tower is the pride of india and it also is very renowned in Delhi as well.
But I don't understand why govt. Of india is not developing the TV tower as a famous picnic spot as it has the strong potential to become a tourist hub in the near future worldwide.
It is the pride of new Delhi__the capital of our nation.
I request the honable minister for information & broadcasting to develop this beautiful place to be famous globally and make India feel proud.
It is situated adjacent to guru gobind singh college and netaji Subhash place commercial complex located at pitampura and connecting shalimar Bagh.
Their is a huge potential to develop a solar/celestial observatory & a five star hotel cum entertainment hub at TV tower.
I invite Hollywood and Bollywood movie companies also to shoot some interesting & beautiful shots of our new delhi from the TV tower complex ; which I think is the special gift & tribute to our all indian citizens living pan india & abroad.

Highest building/tower/built thingi in Delhi
Should d open for public, would be a major major attraction, sometimes when it's cloudy, the clouds cover the top. There was a plan of building a revolving restaurant here, didn't happen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TV Tower is located in Pitampura. Tower is no longer open to public due to security reasons. Dilli Haat, a traditional food and crafts bazaar is situated next to TV Tower. Just across the road is one of the biggest office / commercial complex i.e. Netaji Subhash Palace.
Pitampura sports complex is next to the TV Tower. The view from sports complex is amazing
Fun Fact: TV Tower is the 15th tallest building in India. Height of the tower is 771 feet.
