★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is midway on NH-66 .Ratnagiri is 180kms away.If you take left from here Mahbaleshwar is 40 kms away AND you reach Statara district.Infrastructure is in bad condition.No toilets no drinking water facility

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to describe my experience here in detail.
First of all my ST(State Transport) bus took a halt here..(most of the buses take halt here I suppose)
As every human I went to get fresh in the washroom.. The moment I entered the look was awful..
People using the toilets didn't have buckets inside..Taps aren't yet discovered here I suppose..well there was a hope for these people since there was a drum *outside the toilet* I don't know what was expected from them ?
Then I went on to the canteen to have some food..
I entered to find a typical small canteen no issues with that..
We ordered Misal
I am very sad to say the misal was quite old my mom noticed the difference in taste..
Pau(bread) were totally limited ?
Well as a tip I suggest you to find an alternative thela(road side ones) outside the stand atleast they offer something better.
A point to be noted I found the fridges to have very less number of bottles in it (cold drinks and stuff)... Mineral Water was available which made me give a star to them!!
I hope development reaches here some day ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This st stand is mainly halting place for food, snakes and other eating stuffs. ST departure form konkan and mumbai region halt here for 10 to 15 minute. ST canteen is nice and famous. Cleaness of Toilet is not up to mark.
