About POOJA OF HUMANITY
Pooja of Humanity or POH is a group of young enthusiasts trying to reach out to various underprivileged individuals in Delhi and help them with their needs. They have come a long way from casual, spur-of-the-moment birthday celebrations to pre-planned events at frequent intervals. They had started from the ground up. Now, they stand here with a registered NGO with an aim and capability to reach out to the masses.
Pooja of Humanity was an initiative by Keshav Kwatra where we have benefitted myriads of slum children, old aged people at Old Age Homes and other needy individuals of our society by facilitating them with good educational facilities. We support other NGO’s too to induce services in a more promising way. We even organize educational and cultural events at different places. With the sole motive of serving humanity, irrespective of gender, caste or community, the NGO was set up by some youngsters in January 2017. It was later joined and supported by other members who contributed to the objective with profuse spirit and devotion.
Our NGO is registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 in District Shahdara, Delhi. We are also registered under Darpan NGO, Niti Ayog Govt of India and Ministry of Corporate Affairs for CSR donations. Donations given to us are exempt u/s 80G of Income Tax Act 1961. We are working under all the applicable rules & regulations of the Government authorities
