★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highest quality sweet shop. Tastier than any other on the street. I have been told that this shop was opened by the grandfather 60 years ago and every generation has helped with the shop ever since. The sweets are made with such care. Not overly sweet like other Indian sweets, just perfectly balanced and delicious.
Staff were also extraordinarily kind and really went out of their way to help us. They suggested wonderful things to do in the city and also to eat in their tremendous vegetarian restaurant Porwal Vegetarian Thali down the street. Truly exquisite experience.

After lockdown just bought dal kachori from this shop at my home and in kachori there was a BIG FLY, inspite of showing him the picture of the kachori, He first started arguing on the fact that since 40 years i m making kachori and stating that FLY is not in the kachori, it's in the Chutney that they give along with it. Whether it's in the Chutney(in his perspective) or In the Kachori he was not sorry at all for that, inspite he was arguing deliberately on this point. I would highly recommend everyone not to try any kachori from this shop, as our health is at stake and by this kind of carelessness in his food standards. I would have rated him in negative but the least i can give a 1 star rating. This is for everyone who used to buy from this shop earlier or planning to taste for the first time from this shop, please be extra careful before eating products from this shop, because if u will eat something wrong he will just argue with you, and will not apologize at all.
