Preamble
Situated in the industrial hub of Himachal Pradesh,Government Post Graduate College,Nalagarh is one of the most prestigious college of the state.The college was established in the year 1973.Over the past thirty seven years this college has established a glorious record of academic,excellence and notable achievements in sports ,cultural and other fields
The college provides education in ARTs,Science and commerce faculties with the help of well qualified,experienced and committed teaching staff.The college is also running postgraduate classes in Economics,Political Science and English.This is a coeducational institution and it is one of the few colleges in the state,which provides hostel facilities both boys and girls.
The college has well equipped laboratories, a well-stocked library,sports,NCC and NSS faculties.A college magazine "Prabat Rekha" is also published every year.Those students who have a flair for creative writing and journalism can contribute their articles for publication in the magazine.Due importance is given to various cultural and other co-curricular activities.Over all integrated development of the students is the prime objective of this institution.
Affiliation to run BCA and PGDCA courses in this college has been granted vide Himachal Pradesh University Notification No.1/18-1/74-HPU(Acad)dated 10th July, 2009.

I've studied here. Not place for student. Bit for only timepass. Commerce deptt have only 2 teachers.
Toilets-worst, dirtiest
Canteen-smokey, and still crowdy and unhygienic
Sometimes some students do not get there result properly and untimely.
I would never suggest any one to go there
