★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest theatre in the city. The owner of the land is kibe. They leased this land to Prabhat natya company for 100 years. In last year 2018 the lease was over they were planning to make tower here but as many imotions attached with theatre they decided to run it as it is. The theatre is famous for Marathi films only. Many Marathi films launched from here. Now a days they started to show Hindi films as well. this is Singal screen theatre. They kept it very well. This is very safe for family even the night shows.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Watched my first Marathi movie "Deol"in Pune that too in a housefull show in Prabhat talkies. In 2011, ticket rates were 30 for stall and 50 for balcony. Now, it's 80/100. Don't forget to get vadapav in interval. It's pretty tasty. Also, you can see some trophies of golden/platinum Jubilee shows of golden era Marathi movies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a leisure theater but it's okay according to its price. The feel of old movies theatre's is unbeatable. I recommend it you want low price budgeted entertainment. This theater mainly have Marathi movies and the audience is also middle class Marathi people's. Everyone do fun enjoy inside while watching movie.
Theater do not have bad, annoying smell. Having wooden chairs.
