Best test of Poha you can enjoy in this half a century joint (Started in 1949 by Anna Joshi) 3rd generation of founder is in business, operating from 4 locations oldest location in Jail Road area is recently shifted nerby only...and latest addition is new opening in Annapurna Road Area at the gate of Vaishali colony.
Most quality prepration and healthy food .
Must try in any of the outlets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prashant hotel is the part of the famous Prashant Uphaar Grah started by Shree Purshottam Joshi and his brother Dattatreya Joshi in 1949. The brothers were the first to bring in the taste of authentic maharashtrian delicacies to the city of Indore . When they opened the restaurant Indore was a place famous for cotton mills . The mills used to operate 24*7 and there was no place in the city that could offer affordable snacks and food to the people of Indore . Shree Purshottam Joshi ji also fondly known as Anna identified this opportunity and started offering tasty, affordable and high quality snacks to the city of Indore . He is also known as the father of Indori Poha . Today you can find Poha being sold at every nook and corner of Indore. Even across the country wherever Poha is sold sellers love to refer the snack option as Indori Poha . Now the third generation of the Joshi's are taking care of the legacy in Indore . What started as Prashant Uphaar Grah now has three restaurants across Indore . One in Jail road , the second is at Rajbada and the third is near Suyash Hospital . The menu includes Poha both sada and ussal. Sabudana khichadi with aloo bajee , kachori both alu and daal, shankar pare, karanjee , chaas , Tea, gond and besan Laddoo and ofcourse in authentic maharashtrian taste . You can find people swearing that the taste has not changed a big not the quality has gone down . If you are visiting Indore and not catching up with Prashant hotel trust me you are missing the essence of Indore . A must visit place at any cost . All the best and keep it up Prashant team .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This the OG Poha place in Indore. Founded by 2 cousins in the late 1940s, this place is a small yet full of pace breakfast spot for Indore. Ussal Poha was the best among all the different Poha I have tried in Indore. They also have delicious alo and dal kachoris. The chai is great too. You must visit this place when you are around Rajwada and Sarafa side.
