★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a conservative forest basically situated in cuttack district but some elephants have been living in this place since few months. I was fortunate to spot an elephant when i visited this place recently. The ticket is of Rs 20 and you can take your bike inside this forest because it is quite large area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Full of nature, this place is surrounding by 5 to 7 mountains and 2 large ponds make it more gorgeous. Just awesome for family picnic. Sound not allowed here, washroom and parking available. Easy road access to destination spot but entry fee you'll pay for vehicle as well as visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Picnic spot where you can spend time with family and friends. You can book cottage which is ok. There's an entrance fee applicable. Overall it's just an average place. Good to visit only during winter or spring time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful picnic spot covered by forest, mountain and perinial water bodies, mangroves and gardens developed and owned by Soil Conservation Department of Govt. of Odisha. The the guest house and hall can be reserved in advance by contacting Project Director, Soil Conservation Cuttack.
Basic facilities are available for spending a day in this remote location in the lap of nature.
Only problem is that sometimes elephant herds enter the area for which one has to be bit cautious to avoid any clash with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The serenity of the place based upon the natural cost of the nature. It is the best place for picnic of family and friends. The tranquility of the nature attracts the urban people of Cuttack to have their weekend there. Best time is the winter and summer day.
