★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Reliance State Obelisk is a sight to behold.
I can picture many a alcohol fuelled meetings that led to the conception and execution ( thus far) of this ambitious project.
A temple to ambition topped off with a knock off Eiffel tower on top.
In all seriousness the views are great and it will be something for the occasional tourist to enjoy
I am sure if we return to Yanam a few years from now we will check on its progress.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw a review which is 3 months old stating that the lift is not working to go up the tower, with an optimistic approach I visited the place, I don’t think they have any intentions to either repair or develop the place as per the blueprint they have put there, what you just find is the ruins of a started plan! Please don’t waste time and fuel going there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks good, but no maintenance. No eminities and far from Yanam 10+km. Nice approach road. Good time spend on the way due to godavari river bank

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad maintenance and lift is not working. The whole building smells like rat s#it. One of the guys there tried to charge 25rs per head as a ticket to enter. I don't think it is worth it, you can directly enter without paying. But cover your noses while climbing the stairs and kindly avoid 1st and 2nd floors. Directly go to the top if you want to have a pleasant view of the surroundings!
