About Us
Punjab Institute of Technology Rajpura (PITR) is a constituent campus of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University Bathinda. It is the premier institute of Malwa region of the state of Punjab established in 2011 to provide quality education at affordable prices at par with IITs or NITs. It is started with the objective of imparting quality education and providing a broad platform for students of rural area. This institute has been planned with the vision of spreading quality education in the Malwa Belt of Punjab. MRSPTU-Bathinda and its brain child PIT-Rajpura are committed to the cause of excellence in higher education in the field of Engineering, Technology and Management.
Punjab Institute of Technology focuses on imparting quality technical education to students both at undergraduate and postgraduate level so as to cater to the needs of industry at national and international level. The targets do not end at just producing engineers/Managers with Bachelor’s or Master’s program but also to encourage research and to have R&D section in various disciplines.
PITR has state of art infrastructure which acquires near about 13.7 acres land & 4.77 acre land available for providing Faculty Residential & Hostels. The institute has well equipped, lecture hall, air conditioned seminar halls, library, laboratories etc. The institute takes keen interest in research activities to help the students and faculty in their research endeavors.
