★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bank made me cry every time I went to withdraw any money. They completely lack processes. Their bureaucracy is worse than that of Vogons in the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. The manager appears to be helpful but I guess his hands are tied by the bureaucracy. One day he sent me to an employee to check something and that guy sent me back saying that he does not have any time. They asked me to apply for a new format checkbook and I applied twice. Yet, I have never received it. Lucky I won’t have to deal with these guys any more. Worst possible bank. Avoid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I visited this branch of PNB to change a tempered note of 500 RS, which I had withdrawn from their ATM only, first thing the manager and one other employee Mr Meena of the branch broke the RBI guidelines by not accepting and exchanging the note for the fresh one, infact the note is original and not even in very bad shape and was withdrawn from this branch's ATM on the night of 28th of December 2019.
The behaviour of the manager and this other employee was extremely rude, when I finally got tired arguing with them and asked the manager what to do about this note his words were "madam market me ja ke 5 -10 rupay me de do koi leta hai to de do', I told them this is so shameful and you people are doing very wrong, I have even registered their complaint to the complaint cell of their circle office who assure me that necessary action will be taken against them. Now I am shocked and surprised because according to RBI guidelines they could have easily exchanged it for a fresh note and should have done it, why they were behaving so badly? It is about maintaining the dignity of a reputed bank and also respect towards a customer and the way to talk to a woman. really shameful.
