Honestly, I thoroughly loved this place..!! Unlike the popular and known beaches in West Bengal and Orissa, this is a very offbeat place which very few people know about. And this has worked to it's advantage as the flora of this place is still intact.. Since less people know of this place, the natural beauty of this place lies untouched.. There's only one resort which I am aware of that is right next to the beach and that is also a great place to stay if you want. The name of the eco resort is My Eco Camp and it is available in Google Maps..! The beach in itself is beautiful with clean white sand and the water is also clean.. unlike the muddy waters found in other beaches..! Here's my short and crisp review of this place.. Pros: - Offbeat and beautiful. - Very few people know about it. - Lovely beach. - Before you enter the beach you would have to cross the dense forest of Jhau trees which in itself would prove to be a lovely sight to the sore eyes. - Place is accessible via road/railways. - The ambience of the eco resort is just awesome, with lovely people and staff. There's option of booking tents, cottages with and without attached bathrooms. - The resort in itself though small is beautifully planned and kept together. Cons: - Could prove to be a bit far for the people staying in West Bengal and those who are not habituated with long trips. - The concrete roads in Orissa have too many undulations. So it is best to not travel at high speeds, if you decide to travel by road. - The eco resort is located close to the beach inside a village, so the roads are pretty narrow. - The eco resort doesn't have the support of WiFi and mobile network reach is also very low.
