★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passport Verification was done in 5 min!!! And there was no "expectation" from the police officer who verified my documents. This was a surprise element for me. I was thinking "is it for real?".
Hats off to the sincere cops. Keep up the good work. We do look up to you.
I have had a bitter experience a month back when my brother and i had visited police station at my home town for his passport renewal verification process, though we knew the police officer by person (we knew most of the police officers in that station as my dad was police officer and served 5 years in that same police station), the officers made us feel comfortable but the police who verified the documents did "expect extra" from us. We tried our best to avoid but it didn't work. Ended up paying the "verification fees" to complete the process. Also it had taken almost a day to complete the task.
Moral : Not all police officers are corrupt and sometimes things turn out good when you least expect it.

I asked 'sir ?something for u?' then he smiled and said "NO PLEASE" oh god! he changed my perception about ?police & police station.? Thank you ???LAXMAN sir??? and GOD BLESS YOU

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there for passport verification. The police officer was polite, knowledgeable and helpful. He checked my documents, asked originals and this was it. He said, it's done. you can go. All was under 5 minutes. Very good experience. Bravo to police officer who does police verification there. My previous experiences at other places for passport verification were very bad, where applicant of passport would be asked to come again and again with new proof asked every time, asked to wait for hours because police officer was not in station etc.
On that background, this experience was a superb cool!! Kudos.

There was lady police officer to help in case of any query. It was good experience. I see India is changing alot.
