★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place for picnic or social gathering. You have to book the place from its authority for hours or a day well in before time. In pick seasons in winter the rent of each portion of the place get higher than the usual rates. The ponds are for nurturing carps. Each portion or part of the fisheries are differentiated by this ponds. All portions are well connected with narrow allies. Lots of trees make this place beautifully green for a soothing refreshment and enjoyment. You can feel the cool breeze which can make your day here. The authority provide sound box on rent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is at Sector -v, Salt Lake City, Kolkata. And this is under the Administrative control of Directorate of Fisheries under the Fisheries Department, Government of West Bengal. The Area is well decorated and maintained too. This deals with Fish production and selling/supplying to its subordinate establishment /organization to provide benefits of fish to the public. It's a kind of joint venture of people/organization and Fisheries Directorate. There is a vast lake for fishing, that are neat and clean and well maintained too. So many employees are there for looking after everything there.
One side of the vast lake being made a area like you would be in a park. This would refreshing yourself and mind blowing too in a city like Kolkata /Salt Lake.
There are two Restaurants also which provides sumptuous food to the public at a moderate rate. So, anyone can come here and enjoy the fresh air and Nature of this area and return to their places having nice food at two Restaurants .
There is Entry Fee of Rs. 30 per person for 4(four) hours after that per hour some extra charge would be charged.

But believe me in Near Ruby More Kolkata this place situates and is one of the most beautiful and calm places or a real good picnic spot for free. It's actually a Fish Ferry where all kinds of fishes are bred oh and also you can go boating over the beautiful lake...,. No madness allowed or be thrown out of the place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a huge open space with many water bodies in between for the purpose of pisciculture near the southeastern end of city of kolkata. It is a well known place for picnic. About 16 to 18 groups can engage in the area for picnic on a holiday during winter season.
