★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Qadam-e-Rasul ( Arabic : ﻗﺪﻡ ﺍﻟﺮﺳﻮﻝ ) (English:
Footprint of the Messenger ) is a type of veneration of
Muhammad . It comes from the belief started early in
Islam that when Muhammad stepped on a rock his footprint left an imprint. This belief was never accepted by orthodox brands of Islam [citation needed ]; however, the idea was disseminated widely and led to the creation of many shrines around such imprints Some examples are the Shrine of the Holy Footprint in Delhi and in
Cuttack in India and the displays in the Topkapı Palace and the Eyüp Sultan Mosque at Istanbul .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quadam-e-rasool is centrally located, one of the most oldest place of Cuttack town. It is not visible from the main road, it is about 100 meters from main road. The main attractions of this place is that, you will find the foot print of Prophet Muhammad ( Rasul) left on the stone. People's of all caste offer prayers and gets blessings of Rasool's. I used to visit every Thursday with my father when I was a child and we offer flowers , dhoop, vogo and prayers. It is very quite and peaceful place . Surrounding space to Quadam-e-rasool is used graveyard of Muslims. Parking space is poor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very quiet and peaceful place. In addition to Prophet Mohammad's foot impression (in stone) this place also hàs the burial place of a few locally known Sufi Saints.
This site serves as the graveyard for local Muslims.
They have a large mosque inside the compound with a small pool for Wazzu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Qadam-e-rasool.The Oldest mosque of odisha. The shrine built by Nawab Shujauddin Khan in the year 1715, is a unique symbol of Hindu Muslim unity in the region which stood the test of time. Located in Jail Road, Cuttack, this beautiful structure is reminiscent of the famous Islamic monuments in the country. The historic monument has many beautiful miniature shrines and mazar’s which add to the charm of the place. The foot print of the Prophet is engraved in a circular stone placed in the centre of the monument.this is a Highly recommended place if you are in Cuttack.me AR Rahman visited this place when he was in Cuttack for hockey World Cup.❤️?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Allah says in the Qur'an not to despise one another. So the criterion in Islam is not color or social status. It's who is most righteous. If I go to a mosque - and I'm a basketball player with money and prestige - if I go to a mosque and see an imam, I feel inferior. He's better than me. It's about knowledge. I owe my success to Allah and my parents who have sacrificed so much to get me where I am.
