Been living around this place for ages, yet i have never been here. What a loss! This place holds the remains of history, well maintained and soulful. Because of the lush green surroundings, the temperature here is always couple of degrees less and is a perfect place to take a walk or just sit and rest. They have a great jogging/walking path along with a museum sort in the middle (couldn't visit it). I took at a peak at the museum and saw hanging maps of India and looks like its an interesting place to be. Overall a must cisit for history buffs to see the wall of Delhi's 'second' city meeting the wall of another Delhi's (younger) city.

Scenic view, fresh air and lots of greenery is how I define my experience here. A beautiful place to go for morning walks and do some lite exercise. Although, I didnt get the chance to visit the library.

Quiet park. Take a nice walk or relax in the lawns. Parking a pain point. Look for parking opposite the part at the metro station.

This complex includes Jahapanah Wall (e. 1326-27), the wall of fourth city constructed by Muhammad Bin Tughlaq, and beautiful well-maintained Qula Rai Pithora park.

I love this place. A very neat, clean and pollution free park. The golf course view from there is simply fantastic. Many birds like lapwings, babblers come there. At times I spot peacocks also . There is a jungle also out there. The atmosphere of this place is very peaceful and calm. When it rains you will feel as if you have come to a mini hill station. The remains of the Qila are very beautiful and ofcourse the centre of attraction is the statue of Prithviraj Chauhan.

Qila Rai Pithora is a part of ancient history of Delhi. Qila Rai Pithora literally means 'fort of Prithviraj Chauhan'. In orher words Qila means fort and Rai Pithora refers to Prithviraj Chauhan. Lal Kot is in fact the first Delhi out of seven cities of Delhi. Presently some remnants of the wall of Lal Kot remain, around which this public part has been created. In the middle of the park, a huge statue of Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan riding his horse, has been erected. It is a pleasure to visit the park and see the majestic statue of Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan. This park is known as Ghode Wala Park by the locals.
