They do not keep track of money and doesn't even check or accept there mistake

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If there was an option to rate '0' stars, I would have done that. Went to this shop today to purchase grocery. I handed over Rs. 200 INR to the shopkeeper. He refused to accept that note as it had very light yellow mark. It was a completely legible note in perfect condition, acceptable as legal tender. I smiled back at the shopkeeper, at which he said, "yeh hasne ki baat hai kya". To which I replied politely that he is legally obligated to accept a perfectly healthy, non-defaced, legible, non-muliliated legal tender as per section 124A IPC. To which he reacted very very arrogently and told me to leave his shop at once and tell this information elsewhere.
This is not the first time he has turned down a perfectly healthy currency note and many of the acquaintances I know of have had the same experience. Also, the shopkeepers here are very very arrogant.
Me, my family members, my friends and aquantainces have agreed not to visit this store ever again. I understand that this may not impact their business in any way and neither are they going to become humble. But teaching them a lesson is not the point I am making here. I am doing this to leg people know that they have many other options nearby where they can buy grocery from, online buying being another lucrative option. I appeal to the readers of this review to avoid this shop and save your prude from getting offended by this shopkeeper.
