★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and peaceful place. Not much crowd. They give you hard card board tickets with manual date stamp on it till date. A well maintained and clean station, though number of trains in this route is quite less.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a not so busy railway station of south eastern railway division. Cool and calm atmosphere of the station attracts peace loving people. Elderly persons come here for a morning and evening walk. Presently 12-15 trains (excepting goods trains) are passed through the stations. Presently the approach road is repaired makes this place easy to access.
