★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. Misguiding the customers about warranty
I purchased Ralco tyre 120/70 R 14 for my Aprilia scooter today i.e. on 6th May 2022. As per the sticker on tyre, it carries Life Time unconditional warranty but the shop owner mentioned only one year warranty.
2. No tyre fitment facility
After making payment I came to know that the shop is not having any tyre fitment facility. I was simply asked to carry the tyre on my scooter to a a road side pathetic tyre shop around 1 km away. This was a taxing activity for a retired person like me.
3. Horrible treatment at the tyre fitment shop
At the beginning, I was asked to wait. Then I was asked to go to any mechanic to remove and bring only the tyre. I had no other option than to go back to the tyre shop again.
4. Asked me to return the original invoice
After coming back to the tyre shop, the shop owner gave me 80 Rs. against original invoice. I declined to give back the invoice. As I had already committed the mistake of buying the tyre from this shop, I had no option to take 80 Rs. and replaced the tyre at another ok ok shop (paid 100 Rs. for tyre replacement) and replaced the tyre under my supervision. Please note that all these activities were done between 3 to 4 pm under scorching Sun.
