The Pitru Paksha starts after the Full Moon day (Purnima), also called Poonam or Pournami (in Tamil) in Bhadrapada. Hindus pay tribute to their deceased ancestors during a fortnight referred to as Pitru Paksha in the Chaturmas period. And it begins after the Full Moon day (Purnima Tithi) in the Ashwin month, Krishna Paksha (as per Purnimant calendar) and Bhadrapada (according to the Amavasyant calendar). Interestingly, only the names of the months differ, but the date remains the same. It is roughly a 15-day period of great significance. Rituals like Tarpan/Tarpanam and Shradh are carried out to pay respects to dead relatives/ ancestors.
Raise India Foundation distributes food and fruits to patients and their families near AIIMS/ Safdarjung hospital situated in Delhi during Shradh. You can also join our team during food distribution drive.
As we know many cities and villages do not have proper medical facilities so people from such places come to big cities to fulfill their medical needs. Going back and forth from their hometown or village to the hospital becomes quite expensive for them. In order to save money some of them decide to stay and wait outside the hospital, or skip meals. Such methods are not healthy for them, especially during the current situation of the pandemic.

β β β β β I've received about 20 calls in 3 days from this organization, I might have donated but their behavior is so rude, seems like a bunch of scamsters.
Think before you donate to this organisation, looks more like a call center which is hell bent on squeezing out money from your pocket.
One of the person from their team abused me over call just because I did not pick up his call.
They have an NGO which has a sales team (sort of) who go around spamming, harassing and abusing people.
I would have uploaded the call recording if google reviews had the feature.

But I can't just donate to a random foundation, I need to know if it's legitimate.
