This is the worst place you can go shop to. They sell exactly the same kind of clothes you get in the streets around golden temple but for 3-4x the price. We purchased a phulkari clothing for 1500. Later we found the same cloth for 400 in a small shop in street. These shopkeepers are super smart. They have made alliance with local auto drivers to refer them customers and in return they pay commissions to them. Also they will never give you a proper bill so you are indirectly increasing their black money. Do not go here to buy. Buy in smaller shops around golden temple. Negotiate at least 50% of price quoted.
