One of the most attractive temple of capital city Bhubaneswar in Indian state, Odisha. On first seeing the temple, I was struck with how much it reminded me of the temples at Khajuraho. Rajarani Temple is open everyday 6 am to 9 pm and there is an entry fee of Rs 25/person. Without doubt, Rajarani Temple is one of the highlights of anyone doing some temple touring around the city of Bhubaneswar. The magnificent temple is built on a raised platform & is an architectural marvel! Talking about architecture this very aspect arrested my eyes instantly – the ‘wow’ factor of the love-at-first-sight. The vivid depiction of the life of Shiva, his marriage to Parvati in the form of inexplicably brilliant sculptures coupled with several slender feminist characters in various roles and moods are well preserved and worth capturing. Temple has distinctly two parts – the frontal squared shaped jagmohana, and at the rear end the long pyramidal vinama reflecting typical Kalinga architecture. Rajarani temple surely exudes an unmatched charm, come & visit.

No statue is there, so that's an interesting thing to see. Good sculpture work done and excellent garden to visit. Though entry fee is 25 rupees.

An extreamly beautiful temple in Bhubaneswar. It should be in the bucketlist of all visitors going to Bhubaneswar. With a very marginal amount you can witness the marvelous structure with well maintained garden. As photography is allowed, so go on clicking both inside and outside. The garden is also very beautiful with lots of flowering plants.

Well maintained by ASI. It's called temple but their is no Idol and it's empty. Outside architecture is beautiful to see. Inside is bit smelly and few bats are their. Garden is well maintained. And it's a good location for marriage photography for both bride and groom. Clean Garden. But during summer time please come with Umbrella or hats because their is less big tree to sit under the shadow during scorching summer. Entry Fee 25. The architecture of the temple is worth the look.
