★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small sub post office catering to a huge area. The dimension and demography of the area under it's jurisdiction has rapidly changed. Nevertheless, the indifferent postal department is happy with the poor services that this SO provides. Most often the personnel there would refuse you a service citing the alibi of manpower shortage. However, in the adjoining rooms, you would find several people chatting away to their heartsh content. They arbitrarily decide when to accept a money order or a speed post for processing, even though you might have been waiting in the same queue for hours together to speed post a letter where others were waiting for financial transactions. But, what I have found commendable about this SO is that they are very particular about time. The recess and the punch out time to be precise. So Mr Prime Minister.... It is extremely difficult to translate your ambitions in respect of the Indian Postal Service into reality. As long as you are unable to manage these people. And if you would ever like to come up with a plan, please include training sessions on communication, as these people are extremely uncouth. Another problem here is the space. Its dingy and stuffy inside with no access for sunlight beyond a point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worse service, they are operating from one small window as they don't open the PO gate to enter customers inside. Thet even do not answer customers query, having no stamps, have no forms to open an account, no passbook to issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always consistently poor service. Most incapable people are operating this PO. Nothing is right here. They have changed the building with same incapable manpower. Speed post consignments take rest in this post office for 2 to 4 days before delivery. Even they are so shameless that to cover up their inefficiency, they will register in their portal that " Item delivered" whereas the actual delivery will happen after 1 day. Privatasisation is very much required in this dept. Othereise even after paying extra money we will get rotten service from P& T department.
Weighing machine is not working. So customer has to weigh the parcel before taking to post office. Very harsh behavior by the staff.
A glaring example of medieval era working style. They are highly satisfied with their incapability. Kudos to these guys that they have not lost their service and getting salary with their irresponsible working style.
