★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Complacency of highest order. Try to get information about an appeal hung up in very rude manner saying I could not get information on the phone. Calls are rarely answered and phone keep on ringing even from overseas and then stops. Disgusting state of affairs at RTI office. ..No response to emails either....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rajasthan Information Commission (RIC) was constituted by the state Government of Rajasthan with installing Shri M.D. Kaurani, as the first Chief Information Commissioner on April 18, 2006. Shri T.Srinivasan retired Chief Secretary of Rajasthan is the second and the present Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of Rajasthan after assuming office on September 5, 2011. His term expires in 2015. Shri Hemant Shesh has worked as the secretary to the commission during the present CIC's tenure.
RIC is the final appellate authority with regard to the matters mentioned in Right to Information Act, 2005. Its decisions are final and binding (subject to decision of writ in High Court against RIC's verdict). RIC has also been empowered to receive and inquire into a written complaint from a person, who has been unable to extract information from any Public Information Officer (PIO) or any such PIO has refused to entertain his or her application for obtaining information or appeal under this Act.

In My experience officers of RIC do not work for protection of Rights of Information seeker otherwise help corrupts to escape punishment even in serious matter of information related to criminal cats, police matters and matters of Human Rights Violation the officers just do not register and hear case for year and years and do not shy from making file untraceable. This organisation is White Elephant. Very inhuman Officers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Building is good but service is very poor. RTI act build for fast and right information I. 30 days. But I am suffering from 3 years. In this building just for showing for 2nd अपील. No proper solution even in court number 1no judges available from more than 6 months. Only God can help people. From 4dec 2018 I am waiting for my 1st date Sept 2019 running ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Information Commission of Rajasthan where all the process is done related to Right to Information Act-2005. So cleaned and with all the basic facilities. Potable water, clean washrooms, chairs in waiting area and also the guards are helpful. If you're bored sitting in waiting area then they also have a Park where you can relax for sometime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Office of the State Information Commission. A second level appellate court in Right to information Act. A very beautiful building. Very open and specious. Overall get up is heritage which reminds old traditional heritage of the Pink City Jaipur.
Area is pollution free and ample parking space is there around the building.
