★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wall climbing is a relatively new sport in India. But it's profile has risen over the years especially with its inclusion in the 2020 Olympics. The Raje Shivaji climbing wall is an oasis of this sport in Pune. It has been created using imported material from Italy and China. It is home to some of India's best climbers. The coaches, Amol Jogdand (Bunty sir) and Mhantu Mantri (Mhantu Sir) have coached multiple National and State champions. Their coaching is excellent especially where children are involved as they strike a fine balance between a strict and friendly approach towards coaching.
Safety is paramount with ample harnesses, belays, ropes and trained personnel ( other senior students) available to ensure the safety of the climbers. A short safety training is provided to first time climbers.
So whether you are a novice, recreational climber, or a serious athlete in the sport of climbing, this is the place for you to be.
However the wall is located in a congested area and it is preferable to reach here using a two wheeler, cab or public transport. Car users will have a problem due to parking shortage. Car Parking is not available inside the wall's premises.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place to learn and get better with climbing. People here are amazing and trying their best to involve more youth towards this younger sport in India. Good place for bouldering also. I saw many kids bouldering here which was really nice to see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An awesome place for climbing enthusiasts. It's a 15m high tower with 4 levels of difficulty. The instructors are very friendly and cooperative. The registration fees is a minimal 100 INR for one time and then u can select a plan either daily for 100/day or 1000/month. No need to take any gears with you, just wear sports shoes and you are good to climb. They will provide harness, belt and any other gear. 1 star deducted because of the crowd, it's a bit crowded on weekends and hence you will have to wait for a long time for your climb.

There are multiple activities like bouldering, going along specific routes, lead climbing,endurance,physical fitness etc which makes your experience even more interesting. All the teachers have a lot of experience and guide you very well. All the teachers are fantastic.
