Most of the tourists just come to visit this place,which I can't understand to say the least. Is this even a tourist spot? I mean,this is just a hot water spring,of which there are many examples in the world,but somehow we ignorant Hindus have turned this place into a site of devotion. I can't comprehend how in this world can people consider taking a bath in that dirty water with hundreds of other "pious" people having an healing or salubrious effect on them. This is just preposterous superstition and deleterious devotion. Have you tried to notice the color of the water people consider so pure and sacred? It resembles the color of the water the rivers in India are so infected with because of the chemicals and the domestic wastes, people discharge into them. I can tell you,99% of that "sacred" water is human urine and the rest is their sweat. That is why I am always reluctant to taking a bath in that water,even when my friends insist obdurately on it. The only time I took a bath in that pool was,as far as I can remember,some 12 or 13 years ago,and that too was against my will,I was a child then, obviously I couldn't resist, nor could I know how dirty and harmful the water was.
