The experience of going into another world is for sure , many attractions which were used to be here are now placed in kakinada ,but still you can pay a Visit if you are interested in archeological buety. They wont allow you picture the things unless you pay additional unofficial 10 rupees here. They told me that I can't post any videos of the museum and Its illegal unless you have a permission, actually I am pretty unsure about their words though make you plans accordingly

The artifacts stored in this museum are a wonderful collection of some of the biggest names in the Archeological dept of AP like Dr.Chenna Reddy. It was a blessing to see their work on some crucial anthropological evidences of the early humans who lived in this region. The displays gradually progress from the Mesolithic age up to the recent 19th century. This is a good place for educating children on some important historical events and dynasties that ruled this region. Although it's a simple museum, there are some decent collections from the nearby places. The maintenance is also good. The entrance fee is negligible.

Great Little Museum named after it's founder. The great man setup and nurtured this museum before handing over the artifacts & premises to the Government free of cost. It houses archeological finds from all over the state, many of which are of historical & cultural significance. Unfortunately, it is not known to most people even in Rajamundry despite being located in a prime location. Photography is prohibited (orally ??) Nominal fee of ₹3 is charged per head Open on all days except Friday between 10.30-17.00 hours (updated now in info) Only 1 permanent staff & 1 or 2 contract staff are doing a good job of maintaining the place but a lot more ought to be done.

The Rallabandi Subbarao Government Museum is famous for it's cultural storage. Unravel the mysteries of the past through the interesting range of artifacts like coins, sculpture, pottery, inscriptions and palm leaf manuscripts.shows the connection between chalukyas and Buddhas.

A small museum with a wide range of artifacts saying history of many places across Andra pradesh. There are coins, tools, crafts, idols from different ages. What i found most interesting is this transformation of telugu script from mauryan period(3rd AD) to krishna deva raya period (16th AD)
