Every morning and evening performing Holly chanting by the Sadhus and the devotees . Here everyone is allowed to have Prasad means lunch . This temple was established by Swami Vibekananda in the early twenties.

One can visit this place for Meditation, Eye Sight Inspection, Cataract Surgery, Dental care, COVID vaccine and meditation. There's a also school for poor kids. One of the cleanest Hospitals and campus I have ever seen. The staff is very courteous and they go out of their way to ensure best treatment, pre and post treatment care. I strongly recommend that people who are financially sound should visit this place for getting treated. By doing this you will save a lot of money and you paying a very small fee will help the mission using that money to treat larger population belonging to economically weaker section of society.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Swami Vivekananda, Swami Saradananda, Swami Turiyananda, and Swami Akhandananda – the direct disciples of Bhagwan Sri Ramakrishna, traveled through the city of Dehradun during their journey to the upper Himalayas.
Swami Turiyananda practiced severe spiritual disciplines at Bauri Shiva Mandir, Kishanpur. During the second visit of Swami Vivekananda in November 1897, he noticed the plight of the people of this part of the Himalayas and planned to set up an orphanage.
The Ashrama is situated amidst the luscious green and the picturesque surroundings at the foothills of The Himalayas. The ashrama furnishes an atmosphere for personal contemplation and inner development.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most peaceful and tranquilizing temple in town! Lying in the beautiful area of rajpur, the lower shivaliks and greenery in its backdrop makes it even more special. Sitting only for 5 minutes in the hall makes us feel so relaxed and it seems all our worries have disappeared.
The entire premises is so soothing.
If you haven't visited this place yet, then it's a must go!! For anyone who is searching for peace must visit this place more often :)
