★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My passport verification process here was very smooth. The staff helped me with process even during their lunch hours. The building is a bit old. But staff was supportive.
Edit:
I went for my sister's passport verification process and the officer in a low voice asked us that this procedure requires fees. And since i know the rules I refused to give any bribe money.
I told him that this is not the first time and i know the rules.
It took around 1 month but yes, we recieved the passport.
Ps: i would suggest to do the same if asked for bribe. Please do not just give away what they ask.
