Once a renowned school and poor/ middle class meritorious students from the outskirts of Durgapur took admission here for pursuing higher secondary education (12th)...
11th & 12th classes was very irregular in my times and the authority did not care about percentage...
Teacher were friendly only to the old students who were passed their Madhyamik from this school...and never tried to interact with other students...
Students usually needed to take 4-5 Tution in their particular subject because they merely got nothing from teachers...
Institute became just a body to issue certificate for allowing students to examination and they had no credit to good results... results depended totally on your own hardwork...
The school is needed a lot of implementation in various aspects...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a teacher and I've got transferred here recently, so no one else knows it better than me I suppose. It's pretty big and it holds 550 students in the primary section. It starts at 6.30 in the morning. We are 19 teachers including our head teacher. It's a good centre of education and my rating speaks louder than my words.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's one of the oldest institutions in Bengali medium curriculum in the city of Durgapur. Very good infrastructure and educational amenities are available for the students up to the twelve standard. The teachers are very good, friendly and helpful to the students.
There are ample rooms for the large number of students. But the location is a bit congested and not easily accessible when someone likes to go with four wheelers.
