I went for the first time to this sec V outlet of Kolkata. I personally did not like the service and the food. The one at Diamond Plaza is much better. The food served in this outlet was not fresh, neither hot and was served so quickly it seemed it was already cooked, they just stired it once and served it. They were not able to customize a dish. Since the food was cold or rather full cooked from before the taste was also not good. The diamond plaza outlet is much much better in terms of food as well as service. Pls teach your staff to be more polite and address the customers properly.

Good taste with variety of options. They accept online payment such as Cards and QR code. Best for North Indian cuisine.

Very nice ambience with dhaba themed decoration. We went there for dinner and ordered some of their recommend dish but the food was of very poor quality and very bad in taste. The cost of food is very high but the quality of food is worst.

Rang De Basanti Dhaba, Sector 5 is back with a bang. With revamped outlet and new additions to their menu, our favourite household name, doesn't disappoint with their comeback. They have increased the sitting space by removing certain items from their decor like the famous tractor in the middle of the restuarant, kept very minimalistic and cozy decor and absolutely loved the color and graphitis on the wall. Coming to the menu, they have added few items to their menu like Champaran Meat, Handi Soya Chaap, Pede Wali Lassi and many more. I started with the Lassi which was absolutely delicious. Then for starters, I tried the Non Veg Kebab Platter and Utterly Butterly Chicken Matia Mahal. For mains, there was RDBD Special Handi Chicken, Tawa Biryani, Champaran Meat, Handi Soya Chaap, Dal Makhani and Roti Tokri. For desserts, there was Rooh Afza Tutti Frutti which is also a new addition to the menu. Few points that I would like to mention:- β€’ The Utterly Butterly Chicken Matia Mahal felt a tad dry. β€’ The Champaran Meat has 3 pieces. I mistook the whole garlic for another mutton piece. That one felt disappointing but tastes absolutely heavenly. β€’ The Soya in the chaap felt little undercooked. β€’ The Dal Makhani and Butter Garlic Naan from the tokri tasted absolutely amazing and so did the biryani and handi chicken. Do drop in for a lunch date with your loved ones or to celebrate with your friends in this outlet.

1st of all it's one of the best example of "ucha dukan feeka pakvan" Going there is waste of money as well as waste of time. Street foods are better than this. They sold food only by name and some silly dialogues but the taste is too poor. Price for each food is very high. I won't suggest to go there. Like home they do serve food in steel utensils and food quality is not at all up to the mark. Better you take Street side food. Cause it's cost effective as well as tasty too. Giving one star rating is also too much for them.

Location: On the main road only in Sector 5, surrounded by corporate houses. Food: Really nice, specially Chicken Palangtod ? and Fish Tikka (melted in the mouth). I don't eat mutton however, my friends did and they recommended Handi Mutton. Drink: Refreshing. Try their lassi. Ambience: Ok. Very crowded and a lot of noise because of obvious reason. No music. Space: Very large. Service: Nice and staffs are courteous. Price: Not very reasonable, but not expensive. Overall: Worth it, especially if you want to give party to a group of 10 or more since it has huge table (it's always good to sit together). ? If you love Punjabi foods, then this is the place.

The taste of the food is not worth at all. This is just running for the name sake. The tandoori chicken costed a wooping 260 bucks but it was so dry. The chicken platter that costs more than 500/- is worthless ( 2 shekh kabab, 1 tandoori, 2 hariyali and 4 reshmi topped with cheese. ) The champaran meat was not tasty at all rather very blunt and just it costs 475/- . I won't recommend it at all. The chicken bharta on the other hand was really good. The fhirni lacked sweetness. The service was good and the interior ambience gives a essence of dhaba.

All good amongst the glittery, sparkling and exceptionally well crafted theme based restaurant. Menu a bit over priced but the ambience compensates for the same. Good for friends, couples, family, colleagues. Mist try their soda. They have added exceptional taste to it. Staffs are polite/hospitable and service is quick, considering the footfall. Truly they have the potential to recreate dhaba in the metro...! Do give it a shot ?
