★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a college for girls students at raniganj which was established on 9th November 1980 on 6.2 acres of land donated by the Raja of Searsol to meet the growing need of the college meant exclusively for the girls of the colliery belt, keeping in mind the cosmopolitan demography of the region. It enlightens the girls from socially and economically backward sections of the society and inculcates secular and humanitarian values among them. Standard quality of education is imparted and tries to impart all round facilities to the students includeing extra curricular, cultural and sports facilities. It offers undergraduate courses in Arts, performimg arts, Commerce and Science. It is Affiliated to Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol. The college is recognized by the UGC.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a student of this college. Our premises radiates a soothing vibration. New building construction was going on before lockdown, hostels are available. There's a pg course too for urdu language, I hope they will provide more subjects for pg course in future. Can't tell about all the departments but my departmental laboratory is facilitated with all the essentials and teachers are always there to enrich our minds with their utmost dedication. Even our principal madam is so caring and helpful in naturel. I must say the guard uncle is very dutiful, never let us go inside without having I'd card, whereas some other colleges of asansol under knu don't have efficient security services. Most importantly the fee structure is much affordable, some of my friends (belong to the same department as mine), from other colleges under knu, informed me that they had to submit much more fees without having any definite reason of deduction the extra money . Overall under knu this is the best college, though underrated. I'm from Zoology department, if you're a female candidate who wants to have a degree in zoology under knu, go for this college. Our professors are very supportive, proficient and cooperative.
