★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very peaceful and good place to hangout specially for senior citizens. This temple has a durga maa idol made of 8 different metals. There is a shade for people to sit and enjoy the puja of durga. In puja times the mandir committee members gives prasad and free blankets to poor people.

Excellent this tample is most important in Kolkata because this tamples statue is made to costly metal just like astdhatu or bronze . This is biggest durga mata astadhatu murti in Kolkata . Not similarities in Kolkata . This is 2.5 kilometer from sealdah railway station. Same distance from eastern metropolitan Bypass. This is middle to sealdah to Bypass. This most iconic and landmark place in this area. Good maintained. Every day tow time bhog prasadam distribution .
