★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Ration Shop is located adjunct to Vivekananda statue at Swami Vivekananda Road. The licensee is Sri Dipak Kumar Sadhukhan. There are two types of ration cards , BPL (Below Poverty Line) and APL (Above Poverty Line). Owing to pandemic situation the Government is providing rice and wheat at free of cost. This is going on since the last year. Obviously the BPL card holders are getting much quantity of rice and wheat. The Food and Supplies Department under the Government of West Bengal are providing the ration through the Ration Shops. It is a very good effort of being a Social welfare State.
