As per our guide, good time to visit is in monsoon and otherwise early morning so that you can get to watch more species.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are up to 400-500 Buck living in forest as per Guide talking. Among that how much black or brown not knows? Afternoon time no any human as well as animals not available around & in the forest .So better & strictly suggest to visit at morning & evening time to visitors.
Forest having no leaf & no green areas found at time of visited in January. So better to visit after one or two month after rainy season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at some 80 kms away from Ahmednagar city in Karjat Taluka in village Rehkuri. Rehkuri is home to the sanctuary of rare and famous animal ‘Indian Black Bucks’. The sanctuary is known by the name Rehkuri Black Buck Sanctuary.
The entire Rehkuri Black Buck Sanctuary is spread across 2.17 Sq. Km. of land area.The best time to visit this sanctuary is during summer season. This sanctuary is open round the year.
It is estimated that as of today there are some 400 to 500 Indian Black Bucks inside this sanctuary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must go... Must see... Best time is from August to October. Beautiful experience. Saw many Black bucks. If you are a nature lover and like to see animals in their natural habitait, then don't miss this. You will get to see Lots of Deers and black bucks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rehkuri is the only sanctuary in Maharashtra for Black buck and deer. It is also famous or well known for Bustard bird i.e. Maldhok (माळढोक). The sanctuary is lacated 70 km from Ahmednagar and 8 km from Karjat. It is reachable by any kinds of vehicles. The best period to visit is Rainy season, i.e from July to November. There are rooms on rent available for stay.
