★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On 30th Jan, we received house call by Jio Fiber salesmen. They explained to me the various offers. They claimed that if I pay Rs. 2500 refundable deposit immediately, they will install the router / set-top box / etc on 31st Jan 2021 itself (even though 31st was a Sunday). They also said that installation is absolutely FREE and this 2500 Rs. will be a refundable deposit. Accordingly I paid the money immediately as I found the package lucrative.
I wish to inform that:
a) The receipt that I received states 1000 Rs. installation charge and 1500 Rs. refundable deposit. This means I was mis-informed regarding the refundable deposit.
b) The people for installation have still not come in (as of 2nd Feb morning). The contact numbers called have no response and no call-backs from them. This is really very frustrating.
Very unprofessional on the part of Jio Fiber.
Hope IMMEDIATE mitigation actions are taken by Jio Fiber.
