This station started its operations in the year 1916, due to the opening of Guntur–Repalle broad gauge section via Tenali. It was under the then, Madras and Southern Mahratta Railway. Present this station operates trains to Tenali and Secunderabad stations

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This station is last station in guntur district and after this station there is a Bay of Bengal sea. This station helps people for traveling between repalle and Tenali via vemuru. Coming to the platform it is not covered fully because of the big trees on the platform and platform length is good enough. I can see no dustbins are available at platform. The greenery at this station is soo good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Repalle town is in Guntur District. It is a very good town. Its very beautiful on one side but when it comes to other side it is not so good Roads are damaged very badly. But It have many facilities and they are awesome. There are multiple Theatres, Hospitals, showrooms etc. The town is very famous for selling Electronic devices.
