★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for a workshop to get couple of panels repainted for my car when I stumbled upon this new venture - Revive. I called their customer care number and told my requirements a) The workshop should have a paintbooth b)Workshop should be owned by revive. I even said that I am willing to travel extra distance if required, in order to reach their centre.
I was told that their center in Ghaziabad has a paint booth and it is not a partner outlet. So I finalized that outlet and on a bright Saturday morning took my car to the designated workshop.
It turned out that it was not a outlet owned by Revive. They had just partnered with it, so had GoMechanic. The workshop did not have any paint booth or computerised paint matching mechanism. So the entire narration of owing the center and having a paint booth was a lie. Having driven 16 km to reach this workshop, I decided to go ahead with the service.
It turned out that the end result was not good. Since the paint was being done in open (the area is very dusty), dust particles got trapped in the paint. Their were (still are) paint marks on the steering. Apparently the workers would have kept the paint bucket on the bonnet, which has left a mark over there.
The work done by the workshop was not good. Would not recommend revive.
