★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible experience.No doctors available, no bed available even for critical patients. Patients are treated like animals. Staffs are very rude. Staff asks for bribe to do work faster. It is sad to say that Ranchi is one of the 100 smartest city in India.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most largest government hospital of jharkhand, daily thousands of people's come here from each corner of jharkhand for their treatment. There is a medical college beside the hospital and hostel too. The institute provides free medical service along with medicines. Developments in the field of surgery include minimal access cosmetically sound .
The RIMS has blocks in a multi-storied building with several medical departments. RIMS has about 33 departments which include emergency, Blood bank, Pathology, Forensic Medicine, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, OBST & Gynae, ENT, Eye, Anesthesiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Skin STD & Leprosy, PMR, Urology, Cardiology, Rradiology and others. RIMS has facilities like CT scan, emergency pathology for 24 hrs, AIDS Clinic, X-Ray, USG, TeleMedicine Department and a Deep X-Ray unit. Dental institute began functioning in 2017 with an annual intake of 50 students.
RIMS has its own blood bank, nursing school, dental college and nursing college. At RIMS medical courses include MBBS, BDS, postgraduate – MD, MS, DM, MCh and Diploma. It also offers radiology and pathological investigation facilities.
A Regional Institute of ophthalmology Block is coming up.
The decision to upgrade the institute to university for conducting MBBS exams was taken in 2016.

Nice infrastructure...
Very poor management..
Typically a government hospital.
No doctor seems to be responsible..
Even junior doctors behaviour is I'll satisfactory..
Only GOD can manage this institution...
Particularly ICU of neurology very pathetic condition.
No nursing staff nor any doctor available..
Some guards sits in doctor chair and behave like a doctor..
