★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had ordered one Mutton Biryani and one Chicken Biriyani from Rivaayat. I don't know why but there was a significant difference between the taste of the two. The Mutton Biryani was awesome, well cooked and sufficient in amount. The Chicken Biriyani's taste was just okay, not as great. Fortunately the Chicken leg piece was well cooked. The raita could have been a bit better. Delivery was really very fast. Thanks to Zomato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food quality and quantity 2 biryanis are very much enough for 3 people without any starters. Taste is good but can improve little more. Great communicative and helpful staff, it was pleasant to talk with them. Only takeaways provided currently, no dining onsite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thought of checking it out after looking at some average to good reviews and ordered chicken Hyderabadi biryani but to my horror it was completely tasteless, an experience i would like to forget .
My suggestion rather than paying 200+ here you pay an extra 100 bucks and order it from Behrouz Biryani .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just ordered chicken biryani from here via UberEats and it got delivered in 15 min. The food was hot but had no taste at all. No masala, it was heated in microwave and delivered. The curd was watery. You can eat or order from this place as it gives you enough quantity. If this place serves such hyderabadi biryani, then I don't want to eat biryani further.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got the paneer tikka starter and veg Hyderabadi Biryani along with a sweet dish called double Ka meetha. Paneer tikka starter had paneer cubes which were overcooked at places, but it tasted all well. Next was the biryani. It was mind blowing. The taste and aroma was really tempting and the food was delivered hot and freshly made. The sweet dish didn't stand up to my expectations. It could have been better. Overall had a great experience. Would love to order soon from here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered from Zomato as other Bengali Joints offering Kolkata Biryani did not have valets attending.
Had their been an option of rating negative 100, I would have done it.
Having ordered Kolkata Chicken Biryani, it was very evident that the Chef had never seen, tasted or prepared Kolkata Biryani ever in life.
The rice grains were small, the color a disgrace, the flavour- less said the better.
My suggestion to Rivaayat team- please drop Kolkata Biryani from your menu. It's a black spot on the history of Kolkata Biryani.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani and Chicken Tikka from Rivaayat.
The Biryani was very aromatic specially the rice used
were of very good quality, the chicken pieces were tender and juicy,
The raita and rasa which came along the biryani were complimenting the biryanis flavour perfectly.
The Chicken Tikka's were the best.
Juicy well marinated and together with the mint chutney
it was a perfect choice.
Overall: 4/5
